Hai, I'm Pidgu Sailja Venkat. Today, I present Prawns curry with coconut milk. Prawns curry with coconut milk is a delicious Malabar recipe.It can enjoy with plain rice, vegetable biryani, puri and chapathi. For this recipe we need 350 to 500 gms prawns. In Andhra Pradesh and Odisha we can find a large number of ponds people used to breed fresh prawns.

Keema Sandwich Recipe



Sandwich is a snack item, it’s a favorite one for adults and children too. There are more than 25 types of sandwinches. I want to present some of them. We can use black or white bread for sandwich. Generally we use egg, mutton/chicken, vegetables, slices of fruits and fish alongwith butter between 2 slices of bread. The name of the sandwich depends the material  stuffed inside the bread. 
 


Ingredients

Keema          ¼ kg
Potatoes       5 to 6 no.s
Bread slices  30 no.s
Butter           2 tbsps
Ghee             1 tbsp
Ginger           a small piece
 Garlic           4 to 5 pods
Salt to to taste
Garam masala small quantity

Walnut Chicken Recipe/ Moogng Phali Koodi Koora/ Pallilatho Kodi Koora


Walnut chicken  

Chicken – 1Kg
Walnuts / moong phali / pallilu - powder

Other ingredients:- 
Egg white               -2 no.s
Corn starch powder – 4 tea spoons
Pepper powder        - 1and half tsp
Oil                         – 2 cups
Salt to taste

Kottimeera Pachchadi / Tomato Kottimeera Pachchadi / Dhaniapatta Chutney

Preparation: 5 mins
Cooking time: nearly 9 mins



Ingredients

  1. 1 bunch Coriander leaves/dhania patta/kottimeera (Clean the coriander and cut into pieces).
  2. 1 tsp chena dal/ bengal gram dal
  3. 2 medium size tomatoes (medium size)
  4. 1/2 tsp urad dal
  5. 1 tbsp oil
  6. 1/2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
  7. 3 no.s green chillies
  8. 2 no.s red chillie (deceeded)
  9. Few pieces of onion, 3 garlic pod, a small piece of ginger and a small pece of coconut
  10. Salt to taste


Method:-

  1. Heat  oil in a wok.
  2. Fry tomatoes whole for 5 mns in simmer remove  in a plate.
  3. Add ginger, garlic, onion pieces, cumin seeds, uraddal, chena dal, moong phali , 2 types of chillies saute until the rawness disappears. 
  4. Add kottimeera / coriander leaves with the above said ingredients and fry for 1 minute only. Remove wok from the stove and let it cool.
  5. Mix togther the tomatoes and all the fried ingredients grind into a smooth paste. 
  6. The Kottimeera pachchadi is ready.

Go with aloo paratha / plain paratha / pulka / with any food item as a side dish.

Chocolate Cake (Egg Less) Recipe - Taste Of Andhra

                          How to make Vegetarian  Chocolate Cake



  • Preparation: 20 mins
  • Cooking time: 5 mins
  • Standing time: 3 mins
  • Serves: 20


Ingredients

  1. 1 tin condensed milk (milkmaid)
  2. 1 cup milk
  3. 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  4. 1 cup oil
  5. 7 tbsp powdered sugar
  6. 200 gm Or 1 cup plain flour (maida)
  7. 1/2 cup cocoa,
  8. 1 tsp soda-bi-carbonate
  9. 2 tsps baking powder
  10. Chocolate sauce


 Method:- 

  1. Sift maida, cocoa, soda & baking powder. Keep aside.
  2. Beat sugar and milkmaid till fluffy, pour oil and beat well.
  3. Add milk and essence, maida beat well for 5 minutes till the mixture is smooth and light.
  4. Take a round 6 to 7inches diameter microproof glass dish, The dish should have 4 inches height.
  5. Line the container with brown paper, Grease it with oil then Pour cake batter in it.
  6. Microwave for 5 mins. Let it stand for 3 mins in the microwave.
  7. Let it cool for 3 mins then transfer to a serving plate.
  8. Pour chocolate sauce on it.

 Enjoy the delicious eggless chocolate cake. You can make egg less chocolate cakes in any occassion.

Spinach, Fenugreek Soup - Sailu's Home Made

 Spinach Fenugreek soup


Method: Wash all vegetables neatly then chop spinach, onions, potato and ginger finely. Add 6 tea cups of water and place in a in a vessel / wok. Cook for 10 minutes. When cool, pass through a sieve. Crush all the vegetables and green leaves. Combine drained stock to the spinach. Before serving add milk, pepper and butter and boil. Serve with 1 tbsp of cream poured over every cup of soup with pudina patta.

Nawabi Pulao Recipe - Sailu's Home made

Method:-
Clean and cut the mutton into cubes joint chicken. Boil green peas with salt and keep aside.Slice the onions grind with dry chillies,ginger and garlic (peel off the outer skin) to a smooth paste. Heat ghee in a frying pan. Add Bay leaves, big cardamoms & small cardamoms, cinnamon stick, cloves and  fennel seeds just give out aroma  then add the grounded paste and fry for a few minutes. Add jointed chicken fry well. Add 6 cups of water and salt to taste and cook on a slow flame until the meat render and only 1/3 of the gravy is left. Add some more ghee and add well beaten curd. Cook on a slow flame until the curds get absorbed by the meat. Add 1 tea spoon of rose water after this has cooled take a heavy bottomed vessel and arrange alternate layers of rice (half boiled), cooked meat, make sure that first and last layers consist of rice. Place in an oven and cook until the rice grains are separate. Serve garnished with fried onions, quartered hard boiled eggs and boiled green peas with coriander.
